How happy we would we be without relatives? Suski (Irina Isberg) and Mikko (Turkka Mastomäki) are adult siblings, who have unintentionally promised to join their mother Anne's (Hannele Lauri) birthday lunch. Suski struggles with alcoholism and Mikko is an easily stressed man. Mikko brings his 11 years old son Miro (Elian Ruokola) with him. The day makes everyone a little nervous, because Anne usually has made things awkward by talking only about her favorite topics death and miserable accidents. She doesn't trust that her children are capable of taking care of their own business and uses every opportunity to prepare her grandchild for all kind of challenges he might face in his future. Like she has done before, the event is full of drama. When the ashes of the dead father are literally brought to the table, there are all ingredients ready for a social catastrophe.
