Born in Montepulciano (SI) on April 27, 1971. After completing his high school studies, he moved to Urbino, where he graduated in Geology in 1999. After working as a geologist in the field of oil extraction in Angola and Austria, in 2001 he began working as a multimedia designer with Studio Imagina Urbino, gaining his first experiences with the camera and video editing.
With Studio Imagine he has produced numerous music videos, short films and reportages. In 2003 he was hired by the Province of Pesaro and Urbino. Since 2007 he has worked at the Press Office of the same institution as a videomaker and photographer, taking care of video documentation of political-institutional and cultural reality.
Since 2010 he has been a member of the Register of Photojournalists and Cameramen of Journalists and Publicists of the Marche region. In 2016 he directs two video clips for the music project "Spartiti" (Max Collini and Jukka Reverberi) and also takes care of video direction during live performances.
From 2010 to 2022 he taught video editing at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino. His works have participated in numerous national and international film festivals, winning several awards. |

Ricercatore e storico della fotografia. Dopo la laurea in Lettere all’Università di Bologna cura e traduce, insieme a Roberto Signorini, L’immagine precaria. Sul dispositivo fotografico, di Jean Marie Schaeffer (Clueb, 2006). Nel 2009 consegue il Dottorato di Ricerca in Storia dell'Arte Contemporanea all’Università di Parma.
Nel 2010 è tra i fondatori di Macula – Cultura fotografica, di cui è presidente. È docente di Storytelling fotografico presso ITS Marche.

Roberto Baldassarre is a film historian and critic. He teaches film criticism at the University of Rome 3.
He wrote the book “Storie scellerate – Il cinema di Sergio Citti
”and collaborated on the book “Sergio Citti. La poesia scellerata nel cinema” and “Hamina the Majestic” by Mohamed Allal.
In the past He collaborated with film magazine “Nocturno” and now He write for “CineCritica”(SNCCI), “Cinefilia Ritrovata” (Cineteca di Bologna) and “Il Ragazzo Selvaggio”. Correspondent for national and international festivals, he has been a member of several juries, and he has also beenproduction assistant for Contraseña Productions in Barcelona.
